A new show obsession that’s making me rethink how I watch TV 📺
A digital decluttering hack that’s weirdly satisfying (and mildly terrifying) 📸
A creative kick in the pants from a quote that hit way too close to home 💡
Took a stroll through a park we’d somehow never visited—this town keeps surprising me with its hidden little nooks and crannies. It’s wild how a place can feel both new and familiar at the same time.
Planted my first ever window flowerboxes! It’s a bold attempt at redemption from my plant-killing past. My husband, the certified green thumb of the household, is under strict orders to keep his hands off.
Visited Ightham Mote, National Trust scone that is the highlight of my week not pictured.
Hi, friends! How's your week going?
The latest from my end:
Currently hooked on Severance on Apple TV—it’s deliciously weird, and my brain is fully in conspiracy mode. Because new episodes are being dropped once a week, my husband and I have been talking about how it’s fun to watch a show “the old fashioned way”. I think we’re sold on the once-a-week pace for shows going forward—it feels more fun, even when we could binge the whole thing.
Meanwhile, I currently sound like a beached seal. I’ve been battling the most obnoxious dry cough from viral bronchitis. The cold was mild—the aftermath, not so fun.
This is something that I’m definitely guilty of. I’m trying to bring more creating vs. consuming back into my business (hello, we’re called Bungalow Creative). Early on, I’d create just for the joy of it. Now? It’s all admin, strategy, systems. I’m reminding myself: make room for messy, fun, useless-for-the-algorithm creativity.
It’s…cute! I’m about a third in—not totally hooked yet, but I’ve got hope. Trying something new: half audiobook, half paperback. It’s kinda fun bouncing between the two—like having a conversation with the book in two different accents.
Currently deep in automation mode—Zapier, Make.com, Airtable… it’s a total playground for my brain. I love this stuff so much I have to physically stop myself from building workflows into the night.
Wrapping up my clients’ event intelligence marketing platform Webflow site this week!
Oh, and dusting off my quiz-making skills—back on Interact to create some fun, lead-grabbing quizzes. I forgot how much I enjoy these. Such a refreshing break from blog posts!
Got an idea in the works? I’ve got openings starting mid-April to bring it to life.
Obsessed with cleaning out my camera roll (because apparently, 47,000 photos/videos isn’t normal). I saw a TikTok hack: search for today’s date (like “February 19”) and clear out everything from that day—every day—for a year. It’s part memory lane, part digital spring cleaning, and honestly, weirdly fun.
The screenshots folder, though? A horror show. Outdated memes, accidental screen grabs, and random recipes from 2018—it’s a jungle in there.
