🎨 A design conspiracy theory you won’t unsee.
🔧 Agroup chat upgrade you didn’t know you needed.
🍹 My latest experiment that may or may not explode.
🎨 Design time-lapses are a lie. Okay, so you know those hypnotic time-lapse videos of designers magically whipping up logos or packaging, where everything just... flows? Perfectly? Like they’re some kind of design Mozart channeling the spirit of the Adobe gods? Yeah. I’m calling shenanigans. No way that’s the actual first attempt. Either they’re reconstructing it after hours of suffering, or I’m the only designer who spends 70% of my time manically zooming in and out while muttering existential questions like, “Is this blue too... blue?”
🤖 System update complete: Brain v2.0. After months of diapers and baby giggles, firing up the creative circuits again feels unreasonably good.
🍫 The formula for happiness. Fully stocked snack cabinet. That’s it. That’s the science.
🛠️ Tool of the Week - This one goes out to Letterloop. I've been obsessed with this for over a year. Every month, you and your group of choice (I’ve got one with my college gal pals + my immediate family) get a set of fun questions. Everyone answers, and then—boom—Letterloop compiles them into a delightful little newsletter. It’s the perfect mix of journaling, group chat, and wait, how did I not know this weird fact about my own family?
💣 This one drops a truth bomb: If you want to nail positioning, you have to frame it in a way that already exists in people’s minds—not just in some beautifully crafted marketing copy.
This is easy to forget as brand designers, copywriters, marketers, and small biz owners. We get so wrapped up in our vision that we forget customers don’t live in our heads.
📖 Audiobook breakthrough! Remember when I was spiraling about whether I actually like audiobooks? (My 12 unused Audible credits have been glaring at me for months.) Well, I finally cracked the code.
Turns out, audiobooks are perfect for re-reading old favorites. My TBR list is always tempting me away from books I’ve already read, but listening to them? A total game-changer. I already know the story, so I can be a little less locked in, but it’s still a fresh way to experience the book. Right now, I’m revisiting City of Thieves—one that's stayed on my mind over the years (and makes me really appreciate the food on my plate).
🛍️ Shopify project near the finish line. Wrapping up a big one for Claudia Colombo—normally, we stick to frontend design, but this time we’re diving into the whole backend setup, including product and review migration. Feels like playing Tetris with data, and I kind of love it.
🌎 Multinational, wholesale Shopify site proposal. Scoping these kinds of custom projects turns me into a research goblin, but I need that deep dive—because nothing’s worse than a project that starts with “we’ll figure it out as we go.”
You could keep wrestling with your website and brand, or…you could let me handle it while you enjoy your life.

🧪 (Homemade) Kombucha!
I’ve always liked kombucha, but after trying my friend Rosa’s homemade batch at a beach picnic in Mallorca, I realized—store-bought will never be the same.
So, naturally, I had to make my own. Turns out, it’s weirdly easy (until it explodes on your kitchen ceiling). The best part? It’s like a fancy drink without being alcoholic, and you can experiment endlessly with flavors.
❤ Paging all former Tumblr kids - there’s a TikTok going around that perfectly parodies the Millennial Music Era, and it sent me spiraling straight into my old Tumblr archives. Naturally, I had to resurrect my playlist of the songs that once ruled my iPod touch.
So if you, too, spent 2010 layering infinity scarves and posting deep lyrics as Facebook statuses…enjoy the trip down memory lane. 🎧
Meme circa September 2010 for tax purposes. Simpler times.

🎨 You’ve figured out how to stop zooming in and out like a maniac while designing. Teach me your ways.
🛍️ You have any experience with/insights on using Shopify Markets.
🍹 You have a favorite kombucha flavor combo I NEED to try.
